Ron Symons October 13, 2014 10:44 AM Reply Oh, forgot to mention that we added a tsp or so of Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce to this sauce (just enough to give it a little zing!). The sauce is a delicious mixture of honey, garlic, and ginger and rice vinegar. Dinner was done quicker than the delivery guy could gave gotten to the house. Please use your best judgment on using the appropriate substitutions to fit your dietary restrictions. You will get good at figuring out how long chicken has to cook in its various configurations&good luck! Ron October 15, 2014 3:20 AM Reply If you are buying your chicken breasts fresh from the market, you can ask the butcher to cut the breasts for you. However, if it is not available for a specific recipe, I recommend using free online resources at your discretion (you can Google nutritional calculator) to obtain such information.

I ended up adding a little bit less. Cortney September 2, 2016 9:15 AM Reply I made this last night and it turned out amazing! I do agree that its not as crunchy the second time around, but its definitely still good. Dawn February 7, 2015 3:54 PM Reply Just made this recipe for date night and it is incredible! The chicken develops such a lovely golden brown and the sauce on top is incredible! I substituted buttermilk for 1 cup whole milk and 1 tablespoon white vinegar (saw this in the comments), and the chicken turned out tremendously! Cannot wait to make it again! . Alexa January 19, 2016 8:00 AM Reply Can I make this with frozen chicken or does it only work with fresh chicken? Chungah January 19, 2016 8:08 AM Reply If frozen chicken is used, I recommend thawing completely prior to using. Please note that 2 tablespoons of soy sauce is being mixed into 1/3 cup of honey, resulting in a golden color. Thanks . We help families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures. We used a Caribbean hot pepper sauce because that was to hand. Whitney October 29, 2014 2:56 PM Reply Can you make the sauce ahead of time or should it be served fresh? Cant wait to make it! Chungah October 29, 2014 6:36 PM Reply Yes, absolutely! Ive stored the leftovers in a jar in the fridge for several days.

That said& my fianc and I were not fans of this sauce. Lorrie February 15, 2015 6:44 PM Reply Delicious! The only problem I had was because so few pieces of chicken are fried at a time, the first chunks get cold by the time youre done with the last. Liz July 26, 2014 6:13 AM Reply A nice and easy recipe. Rod October 19, 2014 12:57 AM Reply This was very good. Turned out really good. Chloe February 4, 2015 4:30 PM Reply OMG!
